My office is in the heart of beautiful Santa Monica! The promenade is a few blocks away, and there are plenty of good places to eat if you want to have a meal after therapy. The address is 720 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 204. You may park in the lot for a fee, or there are also plenty of metered spots along Wilshire and Lincoln.
When you arrive, please come up to Suite 204 on the second floor. Once you enter the space, please find and tap on my name in the iPad check-in app to let me know you have arrived. If you need to use the restroom, the code is 1900#.
Online sessions are also available from anywhere in California, allowing you to stay in your pajamas if you prefer. So my office can be anywhere you are.
No. Although there are some changes coming soon for therapists and their ability to work in other states, my license is specific to California, so you must physically reside in the state with the best weather in the country.
Like most folks, I work Monday through Friday, and I also work some weekends because I absolutely love what I do! For updated availability, check the online portal.
Sessions are typically 50 minutes long; however, some clients like the spaciousness of 75-minute sessions, which can be accommodated for an extra fee.
I do not take insurance, but I am happy to provide you with a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. I cannot guarantee if or how much you can be reimbursed, so check with your insurance company if this is important for your finances.
I believe therapy is incredibly valuable and that you often get more out of it when you are genuinely invested in the emotional and financial process. However, I also understand that finances are very real.
For those who simply cannot afford my rates, we can discuss a sliding scale. I offer a couple of slots in my schedule for this purpose.
Reach out to me on this website to schedule a free initial consultation. After we have spoken and agreed that we are a good fit, I will offer various options for our first meeting. All forms must be filled out before your first meeting, and then your slot is confirmed once completed. They’re pretty painless, so I encourage you to complete them immediately after your free consultation.
It’s my privilege to carve out time specifically for you. Since I have limited availability, I must keep a strict cancellation policy of 24 hours. I know life can get complicated, so you can cancel your appointment for any reason up to 24 hours beforehand. However, if a session is cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, I must charge for the full session.
Before I was a therapist, I was a yoga instructor and personal trainer, so I have worked one-on-one with people my entire professional life.
When I wanted to offer people more in-depth healing and growth, I got my Master’s in Spiritual Psychology in 2012 and began adding counseling to my list of offerings. This work became so rewarding that I pursued it full-time and got a second Master’s Degree in Depth Psychology in 2017. My thesis pertained to the comparative benefits of Breathwork and Psychedelics as adjuncts to psychotherapy.
Since then, the popularity of psychedelics for healing has exploded. I became licensed as a marriage and family therapist shortly thereafter and began a deeper course of study into EMDR, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, and Couples Counseling.
Now here we are, 15 years later, and I still absolutely love what I do. I believe it’s essential to continue learning more each year. Currently, I’m diving deeper into Internal Family Systems and Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples.
Yes, yes, and yes. I love working with individuals and couples. My practice is currently split 50/50 between them.
This is such a good question, and the answer depends on your goals. Some people want to learn concrete skills, see improvements, and graduate from therapy after 6-12 sessions. Others enjoy having ongoing support and a safe place to come each week, so we leave it more open.
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) combines the safe, guided use of ketamine, administered by a medical doctor, with talk therapy facilitated by me, to support healing and growth.
In this process, ketamine can create a state of openness and relaxation that may make it easier to explore emotions, shift old patterns, and connect with new perspectives. Many people find that it helps reduce anxiety or depression, softens self-criticism, and deepens self-understanding.
The goal is to provide you with a supportive space to process what comes up and turn those insights into lasting change.
If you are interested in KAP, bring it up, and we can discuss it. If we both determine it would be appropriate to try, one of the excellent physicians I work with will evaluate to ensure it is right for you from a medical perspective.
